Split On Data Tool

Use the Split on Data tool to automatically split a banded data column's values into mutually exclusive branches. Each branch can then be allocated a different action.

1. Drag the tool to the Workspace.

   

2. Drag the banded column into the Column to split on field.
   The window will expand to show all column values, with a branch created for each unique value.
3. Each branch can be expanded by clicking on the drop-down arrow, and an action dragged into the displayed area.
4. Individual values can be deleted from the Values window, which will automatically remove their corresponding branch once you click out of the Values window.
